Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator in the city of Montebello, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various machinery and a strong understanding of production processes. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our assembly line and the quality of our products.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor machinery on the assembly line, including press brake machines and stamping presses.
Must us mechanical aptitude, math skills, and read micrometers.
Perform routine maintenance on machines, including lathes and CAM programming equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
Package finished products according to company standards for quality assurance.
Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances of manufactured parts.
Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the facility.
Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and efficiency enhancements.
Experience
At least 1 year experience with a continuous employer in a manufacturing environment or in machine operation or assembly line work.
Proficiency in oral, written, diagram, or blueprint form is essential for understanding technical specifications.
Familiarity with press brake machines, stamping presses, lathes, and CAM programming is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in production processes.
Requirements
Bilingual English & Spanish
High school graduate or equivalent
Criminal Background check
Willing to submit a drug screening
Work overtime, different shifts, and weekends if needed
Physical functions of position include bending, climbing, lifting, moving, and standing.
Pay rate:
$22.00 an hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00 am
Overtime & Weekends if needed
