We are currently seeking a recently graduated Physician Assistant who has successfully completed their PA program and passed the national certification exam (PANCE). This is a unique opportunity for a motivated new graduate to begin their career in a specialized cardiology setting.


Position Overview: We are looking for a driven and passionate Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have strong academic performance, a genuine interest in cardiovascular medicine, and a commitment to excellence in patient care. This is an entry-level position designed to support your transition from student to practicing PA. You will work closely with an experienced cardiologist with 4 fellowships in different disciplines in Cardiology and benefit from mentorship, structured training, and hands-on experience in an outpatient cardiology setting.


Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans under supervision • Order and interpret EKG, Ultrasound, and other diagnostic tests relevant to cardiovascular conditions • Provide patient education regarding heart health, medications, and lifestyle modifications • Assist in procedures such as stress testing, echocardiograms, and other cardiology-related diagnostics • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR system • Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives What We Offer: • Competitive starting salary based on experience and qualifications • Structured orientation and mentorship program • Opportunities for research, continued learning and advancement in cardiology • A welcoming, inclusive, and professional workplace culture

Qualifications: • Graduated from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program • Successfully passed the PANCE or PANRE exam (NCCPA certified) • Strong academic performance and board scores • Demonstrated interest in cardiology or internal medicine through rotations, coursework, or extracurriculars • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment • Valid California PA license or eligible for immediate licensure • DEA certification or ability to obtain one preferred • Strong English both written and oral. • Strong computer use and typing skills
