Technical Consultant






Compensation:  $15-30/hr based on experience

We are a fast growing IT Professional Services team with clients in the legal, medical, manufacturing and fashion industries. We are looking for energetic, detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals that want to be challenged and grow. We are looking to hire the following positions immediately:

  • Help Desk Level 1
  • Field Technical Consultant

Technical Proficiencies Required:

  • Desktop support and deployment on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Max OS X
  • Windows Server maintenance on Windows 2008, Windows 2012, Windows 2016, Active Directory
  • Mac Server maintenance and Open Directory a plus
  • Wireless network support and deployment using AeroNet, Cisco, Unifi
  • Email systems like Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Online Services, Google Apps
  • Antivirus, Symantec, Vipre, Clam AV, Avast! And more
  • Backup using Symantec Backup Exec, Various Cloud Backup
  • Mobile device support Verizon, AT&T, Apple, iPad, iPhone, Android
  • Remote support using TeamViewer, Remote Desktop and others
  • Office Apps like Microsoft Office, Apple iWorks
  • Graphic Design Apps a plus
  • Networking design and installation (cabling) a plus
  • Audio Video systems knowledge a plus
  • CCTV and security systems knowledge a plus
  • Access Control systems knowledge a plus
  • Business equipment knowledge a plus
  • Document and Print management solutions knowledge a plus

Responsibilities Include:

  • Client technical support by phone, remote, email, or in-person onsite
  • Perform preventative maintenance on servers and workstations from remote dashboard
  • Remote support of desktop and application related issues.
  • Manage vendor support incidents and escalations
  • Assist team in projects that include technical and infrastructure installations
  • Detailed documentation of all tasks performed with accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, documentation and follow up skills
  • Logical troubleshooting skills
  • 2+ years in the Information Technology field.
  • Field support and remote support experience required.
  • You must be personable, sincere and professional with clients at all times
  • Available to start FULL TIME employment ASAP

Terms of employment:

  • Full Time, no moonlighting
  • Hourly pay between $15-30/hr based on experience
  • Benefits after 90 days
