"Some People" like to believe the "rich" don't pay enough taxes. And I hear that line mostly from people who don't work at all.
Never mind the fact that Elon Musk will pay about $11 BILLION in taxes this year. Chump change, right?
Here's the deal: Rich people are sometimes able to avoid paying taxes, by using the TAX LOOPHOLES that your politicians provided for them.
Don't blame the rich for being smart enough to take advantage of the overly complicated tax codes your politicians created. (Remember; wealthy politicians also take advantage of these very same tax codes, you know.)
There was a time when ultra-rich people were subjected to 90% income tax. You know what they did? They moved their businesses out of the country, so we didn't have to any tax at all to the US government. Major BACKFIRE. OOPS !!
Blame the politicians for the tax loopholes. Then get busy trying to change the tax codes with your vote and/or community organization.
The rich are just playing the tax game politicians created.
You can make your life better by getting out there, working hard and using those very same tax loopholes to get rich!
